Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Payment

  • Advance Booking Fee: A nominal advance of ₹1000 is collected online for VIP and Gold screenings.
  • Balance Payment: The remaining booking amount must be paid in full at the Theater before the screening begins.
  • No Refund Policy: The ₹1000 advance is strictly non-refundable, regardless of cancellations, no-shows, or rescheduling requests.
  • Rescheduling: Allowed only with at least 48 hours' prior notice and subject to availability. No refunds will be provided if rescheduling is not possible.

2. Screening Categories (VIP & Gold)

  • Category Selection: Customers must choose VIP or Gold at the time of booking.
  • Upgrade Policy: Upgrading from Gold to VIP is allowed, subject to availability and payment of the difference.
  • No Downgrade Policy: Downgrades from VIP to Gold are not permitted.
  • Category Change Restrictions: No changes are permitted without prior approval.

3. Content & Equipment Use

  • Bring Your Own Content: Customers must bring their own OTT accounts or legally purchased/downloaded content.
  • Legal Compliance: Only legal, non-pirated content may be screened. Violations may result in cancellation without refund.
  • No Recording or Streaming: Filming, recording, or live streaming within the Theater is strictly prohibited.
  • Equipment Policy: Customers are not permitted to touch, move, or alter Theater equipment. Adjustments may only be made by staff.

4. Conduct & Guest Behavior

  • Cleanliness: Customers must maintain cleanliness. A cleaning fee may be imposed if the premises are left dirty.
  • Prohibited Behavior: Smoking, drinking alcohol, drug use, or carrying hazardous materials (party poppers, sprays, cold fire, etc.) is strictly forbidden.
  • Age Restrictions: Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Couples below 18 are not permitted.
  • Punctuality: Customers must vacate the premises on or before the booking end time. Overstaying will incur additional charges.
  • Pets: Pets are not allowed unless approved in writing.

5. Liability & Damages

  • Damage Responsibility: Customers are financially liable for any damages to property, decor, or equipment.
  • Loss of Belongings: We are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage of personal items.
  • Indemnity Clause: Customers agree to indemnify Cinema Le Café against all claims, losses, or damages arising out of their use of the facility.

6. Food & Beverages

  • Outside Food Policy: Outside food is allowed only with prior permission.
  • Infant Food Exception: Baby food and formula for infants are permitted.
  • In-House Options: Customers are encouraged to use Theater-provided food and beverages where available.

7. Data Privacy & Security

  • Personal Information: By booking, you consent to provide certain personal details (name, phone number, email, payment information).
  • Use of Data: This data is used only for processing bookings, payments, and customer communication.
  • Data Protection: We take reasonable steps to protect your data; however, we cannot guarantee complete security against unauthorized access.
  • No Third-Party Sharing: Your data will not be sold or shared with third parties, except where required by law or payment processing.
  • Digital Accounts: Customers must not log into OTT platforms with accounts that breach usage agreements. Customers are solely responsible for their login credentials.

8. Safety & Security

  • Emergency Compliance: Emergency exits must not be obstructed. Guests must follow staff instructions at all times.
  • Misconduct: Harassment, offensive conduct, or unlawful behavior may result in immediate cancellation of the booking without refund and possible legal action.
  • Force Majeure: We are not liable for disruptions caused by events beyond our control (power failure, natural disasters, government restrictions, etc.).

9. Theater Rights

  • We reserve the right to refuse entry, deny service, or cancel bookings without refund if policies are violated.
  • Management's decision is final and binding in case of disputes.

10. Misconduct, Fights & Disturbances

  • Respectful Conduct: All customers and their guests are expected to behave respectfully toward staff and other customers present on the premises.
  • Zero Tolerance for Misbehavior: Any form of misbehavior, verbal abuse, harassment, aggressive behavior, or physical fights will not be tolerated.
  • Disturbances: Customers creating disturbances (loud arguments, unruly behavior, property misuse) that affect others' experience may have their event terminated immediately.
  • Eviction Rights: Cinema Le Café reserves the right to remove individuals or groups from the premises without refund in the event of misbehavior or disturbances.
  • Liability for Damages: Customers engaging in such behavior will be held financially and legally responsible for any damages caused.

11. Alcohol, Tobacco & Smoking Policy

  • No Alcohol Allowed: The consumption, possession, or distribution of alcohol is strictly prohibited on the premises.
  • No Smoking: Smoking (including cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vapes, hookah, or any form of tobacco use) is not permitted inside the Theater or on its premises.
  • Prohibited Substances: The use or possession of illegal substances, narcotics, or intoxicants is strictly forbidden.
  • Penalty Clause: Violation of this policy may result in immediate cancellation of the booking without refund, a penalty fee, and possible legal action.
  • Right to Refuse: Staff and management reserve the right to refuse entry or eject any customer under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or intoxicants.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.
